This was a really hard place to get good shots but here we go.... St. Kinga's Chapel, deep in the Wieliczka salt mine Even the chandeliers are made from salt. There are many religious carvings on the side walls of this chapel. The Chapel of St. Kinga is 100 meters (329ft) beneath the earth’s surface. It is the largest underground temple in the world, 54 meters (177ft) long and up to 12 meters (39ft) high. |
