盾柱木属（学名：Peltophorum）為豆目豆科之下的一个属，是落叶乔木植物。该属共有约8种，分布于热带地区。[1][2]
名称
本属的学名“Peltophorum”源自希腊语“πέλτη”（peltē，意为“盾”）及“-φόρος”（-phoros，意为“带有”），再加上新拉丁语后缀“-um”而组成，因本属花柱的柱头如盾状而得名。[3]
