Asking Alexandria是一支英國金屬核樂團，於2008年由吉他手Ben Bruce與一群好友組成的。目前的團員有Ben Bruce、Cameron Liddell、Sam Bettley、Danny Worsnop和James Cassells。

樂團歷史

發跡與首張專輯《Stand Up and Scream》 (2008–2009)

原先Ben Bruce以Asking Alexandria這個團名在杜拜發行一張專輯後，就解散了。因此這樂團從未參與巡迴。直到2008年，Bruce返回英國，遇上了新成員，繼續以Asking Alexandria這個名字。[1]這個樂團原先是六人制的，在2008年混音師Ryan Binns的離開，而轉為五人制，2009年貝斯手Sam Bettley取代Joe Lancaster的位置。經過一些表演，他們決定到美國發展他們的音樂，2009年於印第安納州錄製他們的出道作品《Stand Up and Scream》，接著唱片公司Sumerian就簽下了Asking Alexandria，也與許多有名的樂團如Alesana、Enter Shikari、The Bled和Evergreen Terrace展開巡迴。

第二張專輯《Reckless & Relentless》 (2010–2012)

2009年的十二月，Asking Alexandria宣布第二張專輯的發行消息，與上一張專輯製作人Joey Sturgis再次合作。其中一曲《Breathless》的現場版先行在Youtube被公開。

三月他們來到北美，與Attack Attack!、Breathe Carolina、I See Stars、英國金屬核樂團Bury Tomorrow展開巡迴。又首次登上歐洲與Dance Gavin Dance、In Fear and Faith同台演出。

終於他們宣布了首個主場巡迴，得到We Came as Romans、From First to Last、Our Last Night與A Bullet for Pretty Boy的聲援。後來又吉他手Bruce證實樂團也將與Born of Osiris參加《Thrash and Burn夏祭巡迴》。[2]，而新專輯一曲《Breathless》就是在這時首先表演的。接著翻唱阿肯的Right Now (Na Na Na)，收錄在發行於2010年十一月的《Punk Goes Pop 3》。

在新墨西哥州的一場演出中，Bruce，說明了新專輯《Reckless & Relentless》的發行細節與上張專輯《Stand Up and Scream》重發一事。重發盤，將會附上現場音樂錄影帶與新MV《A Prophecy》的DVD。

十一月，在《Reckless & Relentless》發行前，他們先釋出了EP《Life Gone Wild》，當中收錄了史奇洛樂團的翻唱歌曲《18 and Life》、《Youth Gone Wild》。[3]

然而重發版的《Stand Up and Scream》一直被延期，直到2011年的夏季被重新定名為《Stepped Up and Scratched》，可視為收錄第一張專輯電子混音版。回到英國與Of Mice & Men、Chelsea Grin等樂團進行表演。[4]

終於《Reckless & Relentless》在2011年四月發行了，登上告示牌200第9名。這也讓Asking Alexandria首次登上大螢幕。[5]

MV《Closure》則是在七月釋出，十天後另一支MV《To the Stage》也釋出了。[6] [7]九月主唱Danny Worsnop在他的Youtube上公開個人活動的的展開，風格將會偏於搖滾風格，而非Asking Alexandria的金屬味，接著他公開了個人曲目《Photograph》。[8]

緊接著十月Sumerain唱片公司，在Youtube的頁面上發表樂團頗具爭議性歌曲影帶《Not The American Average》[9]24日，首張專輯的重發盤《Stepped Up and Scratched》以Tomba混音版的《Another Bottle Down》揭開序幕，正式訂於十一月21日發行，其中的樂曲將由Borgore、Celldweller、Born of Osiris、Big Chocolate、Tomba等等混音師重新混音。[10]

十一月2日，Asking Alexandria將與Borgore、We Came As Romans、Winds of Plague、D.R.U.G.S.和Stick To Your Guns在拉斯維加斯的藍屋（House of Blues）進行演出。[11]

第三張專輯《From Death to Destiny》 (2013–2015)

2015年1月22日主唱Danny Worsnop宣布離團，未來將專注於新樂隊We Are Harlot。

第四張專輯《The Black》 (2016-present)

2016年3月25日，Asking Alexandria發布了第四張錄音室專輯The Black，這是唯一一張與Denis Stoff合作的，Denis於10月21日離開了樂團，而Danny則是重新加入他們。
