Wayne Township is one of the thirteen townships of Clinton County, 俄亥俄州, 美国. As of the 2010 census the population was 716;[3] only Wilson Township has a lower population in Clinton County.
地理
Located in the eastern part of the county, 与以下镇区接壤：

- Concord Township, Fayette County - 北east
- Green Township, Fayette County - 东
- Fairfield Township, Highland County - 东南
- Green Township - 南west
- Union Township - 西 corner
The entire township lies in the Virginia Military District and has an area of 20,200英畝（81.8平方公里）.
No municipalities are located in Wayne Township, although the unincorporated community of Lees Creek lies in the township's center.

Name and history
Named in honor of General "Mad Anthony" Wayne, it is one of twenty Wayne Townships statewide.[4]
Wayne Township was erected in 1837 by the Clinton County Commissioners from parts of Green and Richland townships.[5]

Major roads in Wayne Township are State Routes 72 and 729.
