东京铁塔是一座位于日本東京都港区芝公園的通讯观测塔。它曾以333米（1091英尺）的高度成为世界上最高的自支撑钢结构及日本最高人造结构物。该塔是一座参考艾菲爾鐵塔而建造的格架塔，漆成白色和橘色相间以遵守航空安全规定。建于1958年，塔的主要收入来源是旅游和天线租赁。自开幕以来，有超过1.5亿人参观了东京塔。FootTown是一座4层建筑，位于东京塔下方，内设有博物馆、餐厅和商店。从这里出发，客人可以参观两个观景台。2层主观景台位于150米（490英尺），而较小的特别观景台的高度为250米（820英尺）。本塔被用作天线的支撑结构。最初用于电视广播，在1961年安装了无线电天线，东京塔现在用于广播日本媒体的信号如日本放送协会、TBS和富士电视台。由于日本计划在2011年7月之前完成所有电视广播从模拟到数字的转换，然而东京塔目前的高度不够高，不足以支持完全地面数字广播到地区。为此 一座更高的被称为东京晴空塔的数字广播塔于2012年2月29日建成。
