The Affiliated High School of Renmin University of China, referred to as '''RDFZFX Branch School''', '''Renmin University Affiliated High School Branch''', '''Renmin University Shuang'an Branch''', or '''Renfen'', is located in Haidian District , Beijing , China . Its predecessor can be traced back to Xiyi Middle School founded in 1964. In 2003, which officially joined the Renmin University Affiliated High School system in 2003 and operated as a private school until 2022. This school is the first branch school established since the founding of the High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China and is currently the closest member school to the main campus. It shares educational resources with the High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China.[1]
History
In 1964, Xi Yi Middle School was founded in Haidian District, Beijing.
In 2001, Xiyi Middle School merged with Shuangyushu No. 3 Middle School and was renamed Beijing Xiyi Experimental School, a public bilingual school.
In 2003, High School Affiliated to Renmin University took over Beijing Xi Yi Experimental School and renamed it Branch High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China, changing its status from public to private.
In 2022, due to policy requirements, the Branch School reverted from private to public management under High School Affiliated to Renmin University.[2]
