常务次官 (英国)

常务次官（英语：Permanent Under-secretary of State，简称：Permanent Secretary）是英国政府、苏格兰政府及威尔士政府的每个部门中，最资深公务员职级。常务次官除了负责所属部门的日常运作及行政管理，亦会担当部门首长（通常为内阁大臣）的首席顾问[1][2]。

按照现行规定，公务员叙用委员会负责为任何常务次官空缺而进行招募及遴选，然后再制定一份合适人选的名单，供英国首相选择并作出任命[3][4]。
