Chen Kuan-ting (（中文）; born 5 April 1986)is a Taiwanese public policy consultant who currently serves as the Deputy Spokesperson of Taipei City Government under Mayor Ko Wen-je[1]. A member of the Democratic Progressive Party, he has organized policy forums and managed campaigns as the Deputy Director of Taiwan NextGen Foundation since 2017.
Early Life and Education
Chen was born in Chiayi, Taiwan in 1986. He earned his BA in 2009 from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a major in international relations. In 2012, he received his Master’s in Public Policy (MPP) degree from the University of Tokyo while interning at the House of Councilors of the National Diet of Japan.
Career
Early Career
Since return from Japan, Chen has worked in Japanese firms in consultant and business development capacities, and founded his own NGO – Koko Farm Africa, in Kenya. In collaboration with his network, he also co-founded Formosan Enterprise Institute, a U.S.-based organization aimed to strengthen U.S.-Taiwan relations

Contribution to Public Diplomacy
- November 2017 – Invited and hosted Dr. Solomon Passy, former Chairman of UN Security Council and Bulgarian Foreign Minister[2].
- January 2018 – Co-hosted Advanced Unmanned Vehicles Forum with Taiwan-Israel Chamber of Commerce[3].
- July 2018 - Hosted Stephen Yates, former Deputy National Security Advisor to the Vice President to Dick Cheney, to discuss impacts of US-China trade relations on Taiwan[4].
- September 2018 – Organized Israel Cyber Security Summit[5].
