丹尼尔·戴尔·约翰斯顿（英语：Daniel Dale Johnston，1961年1月22日—2019年9月11日）是一位美国创作歌手和视觉艺术家，他被认为是圈外人音乐（英语：outsider music）、低传真度音乐和另类摇滚界中举足轻重的人物[1][2]。他绝大多数的作品都是在自宅以卡式录音带自行录制的[4]，而他的音乐因其“纯粹”且“童趣”的特质而经常被引用。[5]

早年

1980年代至1990年代

1993年，德克萨斯州奥斯丁的Sound Exchange唱片行委请约翰斯顿画一张壁画，主题是《嗨，你好吗？》专辑封面上的青蛙（此蛙又称“Jeremiah the Innocent”）[21]，2003年，唱片行关门大吉，该建筑物也一直空置，直到2004年，美国一家连锁墨西哥烧烤品牌Baja Fresh（英语：Baja Fresh）取得所有权，并决定拆除画有该壁画的墙，在当地民众说服分店经理后，该店决定保留壁画的完整性[22]。2018年，该建物开设了一家泰式餐厅，餐厅名为“Thai, How Are You”（泰，你好啊）[23]，餐厅在2020年1月歇业，而该建物也闲置至今。

2000年代
