乔治·班森（英语：George Benson，1943年3月22日—）[3]，是一位美国音乐人，曾十次获得葛来美奖。他于21岁开始了他的职业乐手生涯，成为一名爵士乐吉他手。
六十年代，班森与Jack McDuff等乐手合作演奏骚灵爵士乐。之后，他的个人发展专注于爵士乐，流行音乐，及节奏蓝调的演唱。他发布于1976年的专辑《Breezin'》，包括在告示牌二百强专辑榜内，被认证有三白金的销量[4]。八十年代，他的音乐会都是座无虚席，并且还有大批追随者[4]。乔治·班森于荷里活星光大道，获得星形奖章，以纪念他对娱乐业的贡献。
生平
乔治·班森出生并成长于宾夕法尼亚州匹兹堡的山区[5][6]。七岁的时候，他第一次上台弹奏乌克丽丽，赚取到小量收入。八岁的时候，他在周末晚上于夜总会弹奏结他[5]；于十岁的小小年纪，他灌录了第一张细碟《She Makes Me Mad》[1]，艺名为“小乔治”[5]。
班森毕业于Schenley高级中学[7][8]。21岁时，他灌录了首张大碟《The New Boss Guitar》。七十年代中期之后，他开始将专辑发行重心放在流行歌曲的创作上，因深受结他手Wes Montgomery及钢琴手纳·京·高尔两人的影响，他的指法拥有丰富的摇滚韵味[9]。进入八十年代更是佳作连连、名气大增，例如他1977年为拳王阿里的传记电影《The Greatest》谱写的主题曲《The Greatest Love of All》，在1986年由刚出道的云妮·侯斯顿翻唱后一炮而红[10]。

2013年6月，班森为Concord Records唱片公司发表了旗下第四张专辑–《Inspiration: A Tribute to Nat King Cole》。九月，他回到里约热内卢的“Rock in Rio Festival”演唱，这是他在三十五年后首次在这个节日表演[11]。
