坎伯兰瀑布

坎伯兰瀑布（英语：Cumberland Falls）是位于美国肯塔基州东南部坎伯兰河上的一个瀑布，总高度69英尺（21公尺）。该瀑布横跨麦克雷里郡和惠特利郡边界，是坎伯兰瀑布州立度假村公园的景观。[1]
坎伯兰瀑布所在地曾被美洲原住民占据，之后又经过多个私人土地所有者的控制，[2]直到1933年该瀑布与周围的土地一起捐赠给肯塔基州。
据信，坎伯兰瀑布起源于肯塔基州伯恩赛德附近的波茨维尔悬崖，并在上游约45英里（72公里）处退缩至当前位置。在退缩过程中，瀑布切割了现在的坎伯兰河峡谷，深度达400英尺（120公尺）。[4][5]
