高思文 (英语:Syd Goldsmith ,1938年7月27日— ),是一位居住在台湾 的美国 作家,曾任外交官 ,前美国在台协会高雄分处 处长。高思文曾受到《南华早报 》[ 1] 、CNN [ 2] 和其他媒体的专题报导。他是《玉·菲尼克斯》[ 3] 、《两个音乐家》[ 4] 和《不存在的妻子》这两本小说以及《濒临边缘的香港:一位美国外交官重温1967年最黑暗的日子》[ 5] 的作者。此外,他还写有大量新闻评论文章。[ 6] [ 7]

高思文出生于华盛顿特区 ,小时候搬到牙买加皇后区 。他于1956年毕业于蒙特克莱尔高中 ,并就读于哥伦比亚大学 。[ 8]
