性網絡

性網絡（英語：sexual network）是指人群通過性關係而形成的社交網絡。

研究與發現

與其他社交網絡相同，性網絡可以使用圖論、網絡理論等進行研究。^[1]^[2]

最近的流行病學研究發現^[3]，性網絡的統計性質對性病的傳播是至關重要的。在總體的性網絡圖中可以定義各種子圖，如經常去酒吧或俱樂部的人群、屬於某一特定種族的人群、參與某種特定性生活的人群或與性病某次爆發有關的人群等。特別是擁有大量性伴侶的人之間的相稱配合（assortative mixing）是性病傳播的重要因素。

一個或許讓人驚訝的事實是，數學模型表明人類的性網絡圖呈現出單一的最大連通分支（giant component），幾乎所有擁有超過一個性伴侶的人以及絕大多數擁有一個性伴侶的人之間都間接相連。不在這一最大連通分支中的人大多為處男、處女以及從未和其他人發生過性關係的夫妻。
