利昂·梅斯特爾（英語：Leon Mestel，1927年8月5日—2017年9月15日）[2]，英國天文學和天體物理學家，薩塞克斯大學榮譽退休教授。他的研究領域為恆星的形成與結構，尤其是恆星磁場和磁流體動力學。他獲得了愛丁頓獎章（1993年）和皇家天文學會金質獎章（2002年）。退休之後，他撰寫了不少關於物理學家和天體物理學家的訃文和傳記文章。[3][4][5][6]
