卡爾·齊默（英語：Carl Zimmer，1966年—）是一位美國科普作家、博客作者、科學新聞記者，《紐約時報》、《國家地理》、《發現》等雜誌專欄作家，耶魯大學摩爾斯學院和分子生物物理學與生物化學教授[1]。齊默還經常發表演講，並出現在許多廣播節目中，包括全國公共廣播電台的 Radiolab、Fresh Air 和This American Life。
齊默將他的新聞節拍描述為「生命」或「活着的意義」[2]。 他是唯一一位擁有以他命名的絛蟲（Acanthobothrium zimmeri）的科學作家[3]。 齊默的父親是新澤西州共和黨政治家迪克·齊默，他曾於1991年至1997年擔任美國眾議院議員。
