Arch Hurd是一基於Arch Linux的作業系統，其內核是GNU Hurd而非Linux內核。
Arch Hurd計劃是2010年1月在Arch Linux的討論區貼文中建立的。[1] ，並且在幾周之後憑藉許多貢獻得以成功的在虛擬機器中啟動。[2] 它的目標是在Hurd上提供一個類似於Arch Linux的穩定到足夠使用的用戶介面（BSD風格的init指令碼，為i686架構最佳化的軟件套件，使用Pacman作為包管理器，滾動更新，符合KISS原則）。[3]
儘管開發團隊規模很小，[4] 但專案從建立起已經有了很大進展，例如在真實硬件上啟動，[5]為一個基礎的網絡伺服器打包了所有需要的東西，[6]和製作一個非官方的有圖形介面的LiveCD。[7][8][9]
在2011年6月，Arch Hurd宣佈了與Device Driver Environment (DDE) 的成功整合 — 這是Linux驅動在Hurd上的框架，改進了在這個發行版中對網絡硬件的支援[10]
