J·米歇爾·蔡爾茲（英語：J. Michelle Childs，1966年3月24日—），美國法官。現美國南卡羅萊納聯邦地區法院法官。
生平
蔡爾茲出生於底特律。她於1988年獲南佛羅里達大學管理學學士學位。[1]後考入南卡羅來納大學深造，1991年獲法律博士學位。[2]同年，她還獲得了南卡羅來納大學商學院人事與就業關係碩士學位。[2][3]
1991年至2000年間，蔡爾茲任職於位於南卡羅來納州哥倫比亞的尼克森·普魯特律師事務所。2000年，她成為了該律所歷史上首位非裔合伙人。[4]此後她曾在州政府工作六年，先後擔任州勞動、許可與法規部（Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation）勞工部門副主任[5]、州工人補償委員會（Workers' Compensation Commission）委員。[4]
2006年，蔡爾茲當選南卡羅來納州里奇蘭縣巡迴法院法官。[3]2010年，經奧巴馬總統提名，她被任命為美國南卡羅萊納聯邦地區法院法官。[6]2016年，她獲得杜克大學法學院的司法研究碩士（L.L.M.）學位。[7]2020年，她當選為美國律師協會司法部門主席。[8]
2021年12月，拜登總統宣佈提名蔡爾茲為哥倫比亞特區聯邦巡迴上訴法院法官。[9]
