《求聞》：中國-塞爾維亞編輯松活動自2月1日開始；2021年WMC活動計劃及其他新聞
- 中塞編輯松、中國大陸維基人用戶組2021年活動計劃
【北京1月16日電】中國大陸維基人用戶組策劃將在2021年推出的維基社群活動計劃公佈如下：
由中國大陸維基人用戶組與塞爾維亞維基媒體協會（Wikimedia Serbia）合作舉辦的「中國-塞爾維亞文化交流項目」的首期編輯松活動將於2021年2月1日至3月1日舉行。雙方旨在鼓勵兩地社群和編輯參與到編寫中國及塞爾維亞的文化、經濟、歷史、政治、交通、女性等各類條目，以期增進百科質量及兩國維基人之間的友誼，並為後續進一步深化合作奠定基礎。
成功參與並完成該任務的編輯將會獲得小獎品，有關細節正在最後的磋商中進行。具體參加頁面見此。此次合作項目中方主持為Walter Grassroot、遊魂、DavidHuai1999，塞方合作人士為塞爾維亞分會主席米羅斯拉夫·洛齊、社群及計劃經理伊瓦娜·馬德扎雷維。中方的更多討論將在QQ群 924274260 內進行。
在該項目完成後，中國大陸維基人用戶組將立即投身於推動本年度的其他編輯與合作工作，包括「維基愛中國」（Wiki Loves China 2021）和中國-孟加拉國文化交流項目。
「維基愛中國」是一項鼓勵維基人向維基共享資源上傳跟中國有關的圖片、視頻、文檔等媒體資料的活動。維基愛中國活動先前曾在2019年實驗性地舉辦過一次，當時活動僅針對已經有維基百科和維基共享資源貢獻經驗的老手，並未對外主動推廣宣傳。2019年活動期間，有上千跟中國相關的媒體資源被上傳至維基共享資源。2021年的維基愛中國活動將面向新手推廣，也會面向站內宣傳。活動預計將持續11周，其中前3周為面向老手的預熱，中間4周為面向面向新手的推廣階段，最後4周為對本次活動上傳的媒體資料進行分類、整理、評選的階段。本次維基愛中國活動將在同塞爾維亞和孟加拉國社群聯合舉辦的編輯松時間段之外擇機舉行。
北京的維基媒體社群計劃自2021年3月開始恢復定期聚會，預計定期聚會將以一月一辦的頻次舉行，持續至少半年時間。北京月聚舉辦的具體情況將取決於當地社群主持者的個人意願，以及北京的疫情防控情況。聚會細節將舉辦前公佈。
我們誠懇地歡迎各位編輯積極參與到這些活動中，共同領導並促進中文維基百科及維基媒體的發展。
- 台中舉辦維基百科20周年慶祝活動
【廈門1月15日電】台灣台中消息：在維基百科成立20周年之際，台中社群舉辦了一次慶祝聚會。在台中當地的線下聚會由維基人「安可」組織，在暱稱「維基基地」的聚會場所舉行，共有四人參與，另有一名大陸維基人通過視頻參會。聚會成員觀看了維基媒體計劃20周年慶祝視頻，分食了蛋糕。聚會持續約2小時30分，主要討論近期維基百科條目的撰寫協作計劃、「館聯」（GLAM）相關情況、維基學院和維基數據相關情況，也進行了新手答疑。與會人員還收集了各方對維基百科的生日祝福，謄寫後張貼在聚會場所的牆壁上。
- 北京元旦聚會成功舉辦
【北京1月2日電】北京2021年元旦維基聚會在1日成功舉辦。共十餘人參加。這是今年國內首次維基百科線下活動。
本次聚會由早10點進行到了晚9點。組織者為新手提供了教學和指導。聚會在北京疫情常態化防控的背景下進行，參加者均採取了防範新冠肺炎的適當措施。
聚會討論了中國大陸維基人用戶組定於2021年舉辦的各類活動和用戶組中長期發展規劃。在去年年底，中國大陸維基人用戶組跟外國社群初步達成了合作活動的意向，用戶組還決定在2021年繼續開辦「維基愛中國」照片上傳活動。聚會初步決定有關活動細節將在1月中旬前後公佈。聚會還決定要加速推動用戶組章程修訂。
聚會還研究了其他事項。

- Continued working on the Query Builder. We continued to set up tracking for the number of queries that result in an error, timeout, etc. (phab:T269224). We als made it possible to query for Item values (phab:T268814). You can always try the current state on the test system.

- Worked on no error being shown when trying to save Lemma with invalid language code (phab:T265783)

互聯網信息服務管理辦法（修訂草案徵求意見稿）
你們勝利了！？DNS污染正在逐步停止
處於中國大陸的維基人你們好，我是小哲，長期關注中國大陸的網絡封鎖，並準備作為我的論文議題。
在去年10月份左右我開始發現部分省的DNS對於某些敏感域名的返回結果開始趨於正常，但是不久後再未觀察到，直到今年開始我注意到GFW已經在大陸華北、華東和華南地區完全不再使用DNS污染作為封鎖措施。
經過我的位於中國北東南三台伺服器測試發現，對於大部分敏感域名解析結果都正常，這包括了維基百科谷歌在內眾多網站，小部分的例外可能是受緩存影響將繼續觀察，但我推測可能是全部解封了，所以現將這個「好」消息告訴大陸的各個維基人，希望諸位可以親自測試下維基百科的解析結果。 壞消息恐怕也要告訴你們，由於採用了多種阻斷措施，所以即便解析結果正確，也難以訪問，我將這次解封視為一次升級。貓和鼠的博弈究竟誰贏誰輸，我會繼續關注。

- 記得早就有反饋說部分地區沒DNS污染了。現在的情況是五個伺服器有一個完全無法ping，兩個封了端口導致HTTPS下無法訪問。題外話：似乎近些天來封IP端口的問題越來越多了，例如Flutter的官方網站在部分網絡下無法訪問就是因為這些網絡解析到了一個可以ping但端口被封了的IP位址。--🔨（留言） 2021年1月19日 (二) 01:26 (UTC)
有注意到近來開始通過識別HTTPS握手的SNI方法阻斷連接。SNI類似於HTTP的Host頭，這個字段是明文的，一旦識別到關鍵詞在ClientHello之後被RST了--Kegns（留言） 2021年1月22日 (五) 07:00 (UTC)

- @Kegns 你可以去「如何訪問維基百科」文章裏看一下，裏面有好幾種方法是專門針對SNI封鎖的。一言以蔽之：你可以通過修改SNI明文字段，或者去除SNI明文字段（本地Nginx反代），來達到欺騙防火長城，從而讓防火長城放行你的維基媒體訪問要求。174.138.198.131（留言） 2021年1月22日 (五) 14:22 (UTC)

Project Grant Open Call
This is the announcement for the Project Grants program open call that started on January 11, with the submission deadline of February 10, 2021.
This first open call will be focussed on Community Organizing proposals. A second open call focused on research and software proposals is scheduled from February 15 with a submission deadline of March 16, 2021.
For the Round 1 open call, we invite you to propose grant applications that fall under community development and organizing (offline and online) categories. Project Grant funds are available to support individuals, groups, and organizations to implement new experiments and proven ideas, from organizing a better process on your wiki, coordinating a campaign or editathon series to providing other support for community building. We offer the following resources to help you plan your project and complete a grant proposal:
- Weekly proposals clinics via Zoom during the Open Call. Join us for #Upcoming_Proposal_Clinics|real-time discussions with Program Officers and select thematic experts and get live feedback about your Project Grants proposal. We’ll answer questions and help you make your proposal better. We also offer these support pages to help you build your proposal:

- General planning page for Project Grants
- Program guidelines and criteria
