製備及反應

環己烷甲酸縮水甘油酯可由環己烷甲酰氯縮水甘油4-二甲氨基吡啶存在下反應製得,[1]或由環己烷甲酸碳酸鉀環氧溴丙烷維基數據所列Q27109087二甲基甲酰胺中反應得到。[2]

它和吡咯烷異丙醇中加熱反應,可以得到環己烷甲酸-2-羥基-3-吡咯烷基丙酯。[2]
