西莫尼德斯

西莫尼德斯（英語：Simonides of Ceos），（前556年—前468年）。^[1]古希臘科奧斯的抒情詩人之一，他是詩人巴庫利德斯的叔父。作為詩人，他的創作遍及希臘：他曾在雅典希帕爾庫斯的宮廷，在色薩利（公元前514年），在雅典（公元前490年），在敘拉古希埃隆一世的宮廷（公元前476年直至去世）。他創作有讚美詩，警句詩和輓歌等，但以輓歌和哀悼死者的警句詩著稱（幾乎均為墓碑以及墓志銘等）。他為在馬拉松戰役中死去的雅典人題寫的墓志銘，較為埃斯庫羅斯更出名。他曾在酒歌比賽中56次獲勝。他的詩歌現已大部分失傳。^[2]^[3]
