链鳄亚科（学名：Desmatosuchinae）是坚蜥目锹鳞龙科的一个亚科，包含：坚蜥类之中，所有亲缘关系接近于链鳄，而与链鳄、锹鳞龙的最近共同祖先较远的所有物种^[1]。链鳄亚科的共有衍征都来自于皮内成骨（鳞甲），例如荐部前段的背部鳞甲与身体两侧鳞甲的连接方式，以及颈部、背部、尾部两侧有大型尖刺鳞甲^[2]。
