沙鹀属（学名：Ammodramus）为雀鹀科的一个属。^[2]本属物种皆栖息在草原，部分物种实行一夫一妻制，双亲都会照顾幼鸟。其余物种会实行一夫多妻制，由母方照顾。^[3]

命名历史与分类学

本属物种为英国鸟类学家威廉·约翰·斯温森（英语：William John Swainson）于1827年描述。^[4]其模式种根据单型关系被指定为Ammodramus bimaculatus，今为黄胸草鹀的一个亚种。^[1]其属名Ammodramus由古希腊语άμμος（罗马化：ammos，指“沙漠”）及δρόμος （罗马化：-dromos，指“跑者”）组成。^[5]

2018年起，根据国际鸟盟和美国鸟类学家协会（英语：American Ornithological Society）的研究资料指出，本属大部分鸟类应重新分类为两个新属：海滨鹀属（英语：Ammospiza）和贝氏草鹀属（英语：Centronyx）。^[6]^[7]重新分类后，本属目前只剩下三种物种：草地蝇鹀（英语：Grassland sparrow）、黄眉蝇鹀（英语：Yellow-browed sparrow）和黄胸三道眉草鹀（英语：Grasshopper sparrow）。^[2]
