狮子座AD(Gliese 388)是一颗位于狮子座红矮星。距离太阳大约有16光年。狮子座AD是一颗光谱分类为M3.5V的主序星。 [4]它是一颗亮度随机增加的耀星。[5][14]
特性
狮子座AD是一颗M型星,光谱类型为M3.5eV,表明它是一颗主序星。它的视星等为9.43。[8][10] 它大约有太阳质量的39–42%——高于恒星完全对流的质量[15] — 和太阳半径的39%。[8][9]这颗恒星的预计自转速度仅为3 公里/秒,[12]但它每 2.24 天完成一次自转。[15]它是一颗相对年轻的恒星,估计年龄为25亿年,[13]并被认为是年轻盘星族的一员。[16]
1943年麦考密克天文台的自行研究中,它被怀疑有伴星。然而,1968 年的一项研究未能证实这一结果。[17] 1997年使用近红外散斑干涉仪进行的搜索未能检测到一颗距离恒星1-10个天文单位的伴星。[18]2001年,光学日冕仪被用来对这颗恒星进行示例,但没有发现伴星。[19]它的径向速度没有变化的迹象,表明存在看不见的伴星。[10]
这颗恒星以0.028的离心率绕银河系运行。这使得恒星距离银心近8.442kpc,远至8.926kpc。轨道倾角将它带到距银河系平面0.121 kpc远的地方。[20]
2021年,XMM-Newton在 X 射线和TESS在光学上同时观测到狮子座AD上的超级耀斑。[21]
