红唇美洲鱥（学名：Notropis chiliticus），为辐鳍鱼纲鲤形目雅罗鱼科的其中一种，分布于北美洲美国维吉尼亚州吉北卡罗莱纳州Dan及Peedee河流域，本鱼呈长椭圆形且侧扁，眼大、口近下位，本鱼最大特征在嘴唇、背鳍、臀鳍及尾鳍为鲜红色，上颚骨延伸超出眼眶前缘，前上颚骨与瞳孔中部相对，约有34-37枚侧线鳞片，背鳍基部和侧线之间有七排鳞片，侧线强烈弯曲，上缘有一条细细的金色带，从头部延伸到尾部有散布着黑色斑点，成熟的雄鱼在繁殖季节体色变得非常鲜艳，眼睛和下腹部呈现猩红色，而头部则变成明亮的金黄色，鱼鳍也变成明亮的金黄色，嘴唇的红色在此期间似乎更加明显，体长可达7.2公分，栖息在水质清澈、岩石底质且流动的溪流，生活习性不明。[2][3]
