傑拉爾丁·賽杜（法語：Geraldine Seydoux，1964年6月18日—），約翰斯·霍普金斯大學分子生物學和遺傳學教授、亨廷頓·謝爾頓醫學發現教授[2]、基礎研究副院長[3][4]，霍華德·休斯醫學研究所研究員[5][6]，2002年獲《發現》雜誌提名為科學界50大女性人物[7]。
教育
1986年獲緬因大學理學士，1991年獲普林斯頓大學博士，其後參加卡內基科學研究所的博士後培養，1995年加入約翰斯·霍普金斯大學[4][8]。
研究
主要研究方向為胚胎的最早期階段、單細胞卵發育為多細胞胚胎的方式，其實驗室曾試圖確定胚胎發育和極化被激活的過程。除此之外，賽杜還對秀麗隱桿線蟲進行研究，以檢查胚胎如何在細胞體和生殖細胞系之間做出選擇[8]。她還證明mRNA合成必定會在細胞系形成前完全抑制[2]。另外，她也證實受精精子中的蛋白質會觸發卵子內結構蛋白的重組，這是單細胞胚胎極化前後的必定步驟；她的研究為單細胞完全形成多細胞生物提供了諸多見解[8]。
