瘤胃菌科(學名:Ruminococcaceae)是梭菌綱梭菌目的一科细菌。本科的類群皆為专性厌氧菌,形状各异,有些呈杆状,有些则为球菌。[2]
瘤胃菌科中,普拉梭菌是人类肠道菌群中丰富的共生细菌。另外許多瘤胃球菌属的細菌也會出現在人类肠道中。[3]
