彩虹吸蜜鹦鹉（学名：Trichoglossus moluccanus）是鹦鹉科吸蜜鹦鹉属下的一种鸟类。[3]这种鸟类分布于澳大利亚东南部及塔斯马尼亚，有两个亚种。[3]目前这个物种被评为无危，但因其极为热络的贸易价值，被认为其野生族群正在下降。[1][4]
这种鸟类由德国动物学家约翰·弗里德里希·格梅林描述，并独立于同时命名的椰果鹦鹉之外。[5]后来因极度相似的外观而被认为是椰果鹦鹉的数个亚种，但现在被世界鸟类学家联合会自该物种下分离出来，并保有了彩虹吸蜜鹦鹉的俗名。[3][6][7]其属名Trichoglossus源自希腊语，由θρίξ（转写：thrix，意为“毛发”）及γλῶσσα（转写：glōssa，意为“舌头”）组成。[8]:389而种小名moluccanus指的即为马鲁古群岛。[8]:258
这种鸟类为植食性，以当地的树木和灌木的花蜜和花粉为食。[7]其体长介于27—30厘米，体重70—146克，翼展平均46厘米。[7]
