許秀中

許秀中（英語：Vicky Xiuzhong Xu，1994年—）[1]，是一位中國出生的澳洲籍記者及作家。以調查中國政府侵犯人權的報導聞名[2][3][4][5]。大學畢業後，她曾為《紐約時報》在北京、墨爾本和雪梨撰寫報導。 2020 年，許秀中發表了《待售的維吾爾人》 (Uyghurs for sale[6])報告，指出許多來自新疆的維吾爾人被強迫送到中國內陸工作[2][7]。這篇報導被澳洲、美國、和歐洲的媒體、立法機構和司法機構廣泛引用[8][9][10][11][12]。

許秀中經常以中國議題專家和評論者的身份在澳洲的電視和廣播露面[13]。 2020 年，她在澳洲國家電視台與中國駐澳大使館時任副館長王晰寧辯論，這是中國資深政府代表與中國公民間的第一次、也是唯一一次公開辯論的紀錄。後來許秀中放棄了中國國籍[14][15]。

許秀中就讀於嘉峪關市酒泉鋼鐵公司第三中學[20]。 2012 年，許秀中開始就讀北京中國傳媒大學[2][21]。 2014 年，許秀中在自己的空檔年（Gap Year）前往珀斯，在一所高中教中文。那時，她是中共的支持者[22]。但在看過 CNN 記者 Mike Chinoy 以 1989 年天安門廣場抗議和屠殺為題的紀錄片後，她開始質疑自己對中國的看法[2][23]。

墨爾本和耶路撒冷

許秀中放棄了在北京的學業，進入墨爾本大學政治系就讀，有一學期以交換學生身份在耶路撒冷希伯來大學促進和平研究所度過[24]。那時，許秀中公開支持中共[2][25]。但因為作業採訪中國異議人士吳樂寶後，她重新反省自己過去的立場[2]。

職業生涯

打壓和騷擾

2019 年，許秀中和她的家人都不斷受到騷擾，有人要求流放她的父親為女兒的不當言論負責[5]，如今她與父親的關係以疏遠。當她想探望她瀕死的祖母時，她被警告不准返回中國。 2021 年，有人編造故事，宣稱「曝光了她的私生活」[42]。
